美国国务卿马尔科·鲁比奥接受采访时表示，日本今后将逐步减少从中东进口石油，转而增加从美国及其他地区的采购。
他说，在调整期间，美国将“尽一切所能帮助日本”。
鲁比奥还表示：“我们目前向日本出售的石油和天然气已经超过历史上任何时期，而且我们还能提供更多。”
