当地时间7月20日，白宫发布公告称，美国将对加拿大部分产品额外加征50%的从价关税，以应对“加拿大在汽车及汽车零部件贸易方面对美国采取的歧视性措施”。
据称，新关税将自美东时间8月19日凌晨00时01分起生效，并将在现有相关关税、税费及其他收费基础上叠加征收。（央视记者 刘骁骞）
