7月20日，据报道，韩国连锁超市品牌Homeplus就首尔一家法院终止其企业重整程序的裁决提出上诉，寻求重启其受监管的重组程序。
7月3日，法院裁定终止Homeplus的重整程序，因认定该公司未能确保获得继续重组流程所需的至少2000亿韩元（约合1.34亿美元）资金。由于缺乏运营资金且难以维持门店运营，该公司自7月13日起暂时关闭了旗下门店。
报道称，此次上诉之前，Homeplus的最大债权人Meritz Financial Group于上周四同意提供融资，以换取该零售商唯一所有者——私募股权公司MBK Partners的全额付款担保。
MBK Partners于2015年以7.2万亿韩元从英国零售商Tesco Plc手中收购了Homeplus的100%股权。
