据德国天空体育报道，尽管芝加哥火焰与温哥华白浪的比赛最终取消，托马斯-穆勒与罗伯特-莱万多夫斯基还是完成了重聚。
报道称，就在比赛开球前数小时，赛事因芝加哥地区空气质量恶化被宣布取消。空气污染主要由附近地区野火引发，比赛因此无法如期进行。
虽然未能在赛场上交锋，但这对昔日拜仁慕尼黑锋线搭档仍然借此机会见面重聚。
