根据《福建省防汛抗旱防台风应急预案》，福建省防指于7月9日9时启动防台风Ⅳ级应急响应。
福建省防指、省应急管理厅要求沿海各地各有关部门密切监视台风“巴威”动态，适时启动防台风应急响应，强化组织指挥，加强隐患排查，及时组织群众转移，扎实做好防御工作。
