据湖北省武汉市防洪抗旱指挥部消息，受连续降雨和上游来水影响，武汉市长江、汉江和中小河流水位持续上涨。至7月7日22时，长江汉口站已达设防水位25.00米，举水、滠水、倒水、府澴河、沙河已达设防水位或接近设防水位。后续受9号台风“巴威”影响，将带来新一轮强降雨，长江、汉江和中小河流水位仍可能上涨。
根据《武汉市城市防洪应急总体预案》，经武汉市防办会商研究，定于7月8日12时启动防汛四级应急响应。
