7月8日，小米汽车官方微博发布主题为“SKYNOMAD”的海报，“SKY”指天空，“NOMAD”指游牧者，海报上带有小米品牌LOGO。
据媒体报道，小米汽车首款增程式SUV将归属全新独立子品牌“SKYNOMAD”，计划于2026年下半年正式发布。SKYNOMAD并非此前网传的“红米汽车”，而是小米汽车继SU7、YU7后的新产品新型号。据悉，该车型内部代号为昆仑N3，此前网传的“YU9”命名已被取消。
