洛瑞表示，德罗赞的职业生涯也已经接近后期，但他认为德罗赞依然具备继续征战NBA的能力。洛瑞说道：“他确实也快接近那个时刻了，但他的身体里仍然还有很多篮球能量。”
上赛季常规赛，德罗赞代表国王出战77场，场均得到18.4分2.9篮板4.1助攻，投篮命中率49.7%。
