7月5日，广东阳江海陵岛一处沙滩有人被海浪卷走失联，目击者称事发17时许，附近有禁止下水警示，事发后警方及消防员到场搜救并拉起警戒线。辖区派出所及镇政府工作人员表示，失联者暂未找到，目前仍在搜救中。
