美国司法部7月2日发表声明称，美国代理司法部长托德·布兰奇已致信国际刑事法院院长赤根智子，拒绝承认国际刑事法院对美国人有司法管辖权。今后，美国将不会配合国际刑事法院开展任何调查、询问、传唤或诉讼程序，不会将任何美国人员引渡或移交国际刑事法院。（新华社）
