Shams的报道指出，托马斯-布莱恩特将与骑士签下1年的合同，上赛季他代表骑士出战了60场比赛，在场均12.2分钟的出场时间里能够贡献6.2分。
生涯至今，现年28岁的托马斯-布莱恩特还效力过湖人、奇才、掘金、热火以及步行者。
