新华社加拉加斯6月24日电据外媒报道，美国海啸预警系统24日发出警报，委内瑞拉地震震中300公里范围内的沿海地区可能遭受海啸袭击。
据美国地质调查局地震信息网消息，格林尼治时间24日22时4分（北京时间25日6时4分），委内瑞拉蒙塔尔万附近发生7.1级地震，震源深度13.2公里。
