北京时间6月21日，中甲陕西联合足球俱乐部官宣主教练人选，陈涛挂帅“西北狼”。范柏群、关震同步加入教练组，分别担任助理教练与守门员教练。
“西安发布”报道，正式上任后，陈涛表示：“我十分认可陕西足球浓厚的氛围与西北狼拼搏的竞技精神，接下来将快速熟悉球队阵容，打磨攻守战术体系，针对性解决球队现存问题。同时兼顾年轻球员培养，打通梯队衔接通道。”
