北京时间6月21日，中国男篮热身赛首战力克澳大利亚取得开门红。
赛后，中国队主教练郭士强出席新闻发布会，在被问到杨瀚森的状况时，郭士强表示，杨瀚森23号对阵荷兰的比赛中一定会打。
据此前媒体人报道，杨瀚森没有跟球队一起出发，会单独前往杭州，第一场热身应该不能打，第二场会根据球队安排，决定是否出场。
