6月17日，番禺区南村镇员岗村举办了盛大龙船节系列民俗活动。27条龙船齐聚上涌开展往返巡游及友谊赛，江面龙舟竞渡、桨影翻飞，岸边鞭炮声声、人声鼎沸，端午节民俗气氛浓厚。
