《光环：战役进化》是《光环》系列的初代游戏《光环：战斗进化》的现代重制，游戏现已确认即将于7月28日正式发售，登陆PC/Xbox/PS5平台。
据知名爆料人Wario64消息，本作的PS5实体游戏光盘仅作为验证介质，玩家必须连接网络下载并安装完整游戏内容后，才能正常游玩。
该消息曝光后，不少玩家表示难以接受，直言“知道真相后不会购买”。
