据中国地震台网正式测定，6月8日1时36分在不丹发生5.2级地震，震源深度10公里，震中位于北纬27.33度，东经89.90度，距我国边境线最近约71公里。
震中200公里范围内有15座大中城市，最近为廷布（Thimbu），距震中约26公里。震中5公里范围内平均海拔约1887米。
