4月30日，一份声明显示，瑞士联邦铁路（SBB）与西门子交通瑞士公司达成协议，将订购116列六节编组的Desiro DoSto双层列车，并拥有最多追加84列的选择权。该订单价值约20亿瑞士法郎。新型双层列车将从2031年起用于苏黎世市郊铁路网络。
