为什么“Can you help me"不恰当？

关键就在“Can”这个词上。

它在句中更侧重于强调对方是否具备帮忙的能力，隐隐带着一种理所当然的意味。

用 “Can you help me?” 来请求，听起来就像在觉得对方肯定有能力帮忙，很容易让对方觉得被轻视，甚至可能觉得心里不太舒服。

打个比方，这就像咱们平时对别人说“你能帮我一下不？（你肯定能行）”，这种语气里的理所当然会让人听着不礼貌。

如果想更礼貌地表达，其实可以换成“Could you help me?”

“Could” 在这里更偏向于一种委婉的请求，少了那份理所当然的意味，听起来会友好很多，也更易让人接受。
