4月24日，在台积电和联发科创新高的强势带动下，台湾加权指数盘中一度涨3.38%，报38989.94点，再创历史新高；最终收涨3.23%报38932.4点，再创收盘历史新高。台湾加权指数年内累涨34.42%，在全球主要股市中，表现仅次于韩国综合指数，位居全球第二强市场。台积电今日盘中一度涨超5%至2190元新台币，创出历史新高。
