国际篮联（FIBA）于22日正式宣布，将2031年男篮世界杯举办权授予法国。这将是法国历史上首次承办这项赛事。
比赛将于2031年8月29日至9月17日在法国三座城市举行，分别是里昂、里尔、巴黎。决赛阶段的比赛将在首都巴黎进行。
