1995 年，舒畅获得广电部颁发的“金童奖”。1996 年，舒畅拍摄的 MTV 《放学路上》获得了首届中国儿童音乐电视大奖铜奖，同时还主持了中央电视台的《大风车》节目。
1997 年，舒畅出演了电视剧《单亲之家》，并发行了这部剧的片尾曲的首张同名个人专辑《少了妈妈只有半个家》，销量超过 了10 万张。至此，舒畅成了家喻户晓的小童星。
