4月9日，在综艺节目《妻子的浪漫旅行》切片中，孙杨夫妇被问到了一个“尖锐”的问题。
在节目中，孙杨被问到：“怎么看待外界说你是妈宝男？”此时，孙杨没有作答。
张豆豆则是抢答：“我觉得他就不是的，妈宝男是什么，没有一个独立的人格，依靠着父母，但是我觉得，他的一些成就也好，他对待事情的态度也好，完全是打破了妈宝男的（说法），更多的是孝顺，所以我觉得他跟妈宝男是沾不上边的。”
