在出席吴越杯揭幕战仪式后，奥运冠军汪顺接受了浙江教科影视频道《小强热线》的采访。
奥运冠军汪顺表示：“因为我跟王钰栋，我们两个一个是老乡，在昆明，他在外训的时候，我也去观看了他的比赛。足球篮球是三大球项目，希望通过足球能让更多人感受到这个运动体育带来的快乐，然后让更多人喜欢上运动体育，拥有非常健康的身体和身心吧。”
