苏里南政府3月30日发布声明说，苏里南前总统单多吉去世，享年67岁。
苏里南政府在声明中说，政府向逝者家属、朋友及其党内同志等致以最诚挚的慰问，“单多吉在多个公共职务上多年的服务将被人们铭记”。
单多吉于2020年至2025年担任苏里南总统。（新华社）
