当新疆各地忙着春耕备耕时，巴音郭楞蒙古自治州且末县在沙漠中接种的上万亩大芸却迎来了采收季。
且末县位于塔克拉玛干沙漠东南部，三面被沙漠包围。为了阻挡沙漠对县城的侵蚀，自1998年起，且末县开始实施防沙治沙工程，并逐步探索在治沙植物梭梭根部接种大芸，实现了生态与经济双赢。
