北京时间3月14日，据英格兰女足官方消息，英格兰女足球员艾米-卡尔因脑肿瘤离世，年仅35岁。
英格兰女足代表队官方写道：“我们悲痛地获悉，前英格兰青年队球员艾米-卡尔（Amy Carr）不幸离世，终年35岁。
艾米于2024年确诊第二次脑肿瘤后，仍致力于为关键的脑肿瘤研究筹集资金，希望能帮助到更多人。她的精神至今仍激励着所有人。❤️”
