当地时间3月2日，据知名评论员比尔-西蒙斯在节目中表示，塔图姆很可能在本周六对阵独行侠的比赛中复出。
比尔-西蒙斯在节目中说：“一切迹象表明，塔图姆可能在本周六凯尔特人对阵独行侠时复出。”
塔图姆在去年5月13日的东部半决赛G4中无对抗倒地，赛后被确诊为右跟腱断裂，最初预计本赛季也会报销，但是他的康复速度显然超出了预期。
