当地时间3月2日，伊朗称一架试图入侵伊朗的美军F-15战机被伊朗防空系统锁定并击落。
伊朗哈塔姆·安比亚中央司令部当天发表声明称，一架企图侵犯伊朗领空的美国空军F-15战机遭伊朗防空系统锁定并被击落。
由于事发地点靠近科威特，该战机残骸坠落在科威特境内。
