昨夜我梦回东园

昨夜我梦回东园，

踏上木麻黄荫的博爱街，

越过横跨緑水上的路桥，

沿着绿水旁的泥泞小路，

就能见到破篱笆的小洞，

跟着大伙儿溜进了学校。

热闹的大操场上，

挤满了打躲避球的同学，

观赏棒球热身赛的群众，

还有脱帽子大战的搏斗。

年度远足的集会上，

台上老师大声疾呼小心，

台下同学生却尽情偷吃，

中年级徒步走到青草湖，

高年级行军到义民中学。

我漫步树林茂密的校园，

造访大门口的龙柏榕树，

和后门的肯氏蒲桃林道，

我品尝了酸涩的红果果，

又亲吻着羊蹄甲和枫香，

我到校园的小溪摸鱼儿，

又去操场荡秋千溜滑梯。

我看到快乐的我，

和心仪的女孩有说有笑，

我看到悲伤的我，

被严厉的老师抽打手心，

我看到幸运的我，

被身为老师的慈母拥抱，

我看到紧张的我，

在昏暗的灯光下模拟考，

我看到顽皮的我，

到校园旁的田中偷地瓜。

少年时代的东园，

是一所青翠美丽的小学，

校舍傍花圃花香书亦香，

面前临绿水四周是稻田，

当年少年郎今是白头翁，

东园东园东方的快乐园，

培育英才自康强成栋梁。
