2月25日，日本公平交易委员会以微软公司涉嫌在其他公司的云服务中对使用“微软365”等该公司软件的企业征收高额使用费、妨碍了云市场竞争为由，以违反《反垄断法》嫌疑启动了对微软的审查。当天，日本公平交易委对微软东京的日本法人进行了入内检查。日本公平交易委认为微软有可能利用在软件市场的优势，在云市场试图揽客，因此将展开调查。
