在新哲文院70+特色社团的璀璨星河中，“五星社团”是实力与口碑的双重认证。这份荣誉源于每学年学校从社团人数、活动出勤率、实践表现等多维度的严格考评，最终筛选出兼具活力与影响力的优秀社团。

Among the more than 70 distinctive clubs at Sendelta, Five-Star Clubs are undoubtedly synonymous with excellence.

上一学年，围绕计算机编程竞赛的算法社脱颖而出，成为斩获五星荣耀的六个社团之一。

Algorithm Club stood out with their outstanding performances and became the new batch of Five-Star Clubs.

值得一提的是，新哲学子在计算机工程领域的升学战绩持续高光：

继2024年斩获牛津大学数学与计算机科学专业录取、2025年拿下帝国理工计算机专业录取后，

2026年美本申请“卷王赛道”上，学子们再度凭硬核实力横扫全球顶级大学工院——不仅收获1封帝国理工计算机专业录取，

更一举拿下2封北卡教堂山计算机科学专业、3封UIUC计算机、机械工程、物理专业录取。

Sendeltans have achieved brilliant admissions results in the field of Computer Engineering: they obtained an offer from the University of Oxford for Mathematics and Computer Science in 2024, an offer from Imperial College London for CS in 2025, one offer from Imperial College London for CS in 2026, two offers from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for CS, and three offers from UIUC for CS, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics.

这份亮眼成绩的背后，离不开新哲完善的计算机工程培养体系，而作为学生社团的算法社也是这一体系中不可或缺的重要组成部分，其为学子们搭建了理论落地、能力提升的核心平台。

01，关于算法社：以算法为熔炉，锻造底层思维力/ About Algorithm Club

自2019年成立以来，算法社便确立了清晰的初心：不止于编程技能的传授，更以算法为熔炉，锻造学生超越编程本身的底层思维能力——计算思维。

Founded in 2019, the Algorithm Club is committed to imparting programming skills and fostering students' underlying thinking ability beyond programming itself — computational thinking.

作为新哲研创中心“人工智能与计算机”版块的组成部分，社团深度融合计算机科学（CS）、机械工程（ME）、电子工程（EE）三大领域，为学生搭建起启蒙、进阶、成就的完整成长阶梯。

As part of the "Artificial Intelligence and Computer" section of Sendelta's Research and Innovation Center, the club deeply integrates three major fields: Computer Science (CS), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Electrical Engineering (EE), building a complete growth ladder of enlightenment, advancement and achievement for students.

每学年，算法社汇聚十五个左右社员，形成了“分层进步”的特色模式：竞赛级梯队面向掌握C++ 或Python的同学，专攻高阶竞赛；入门级梯队则接纳零基础同学，通过系统训练逐步衔接进阶学习。

Each academic year, the Algorithm Club gathers about 15 members from different grades, forming a distinctive "hierarchical progress" model: the competition-level echelon is for students who master C++ or Python, focusing on high-level competitions; the entry-level echelon accepts students with zero foundation, who gradually connect to advanced learning through systematic training.

在算法社，没有年级与身份的界限，唯一的核心是“思路与代码”。社长分享的“1+1>2”理念，早已成为社团的精神内核——每个人的解题思路都是宝贵的财富，社团始终鼓励“赛后讲题”“思路分享”的互助模式：大神带新手夯实基础，新手的独特视角也能为大神带来新启发。

In the Algorithm Club, there are no boundaries between grades and identities; the only core is "ideas and code".

02，以赛促学：在顶尖赛事中锤炼实力/ Learning Through Competitions

“以赛促学”是算法社的核心成长路径。每学期，社团都会组织社员冲击各类顶尖赛事：既有ACSL、UKCC、加州伯克利挑战、USACO、CAT计算机思维挑战等专业算法竞赛，也鼓励大家参与高斯数学挑战、AMC等数学竞赛，以数学思维夯实算法基础，在多元赛事中全面提升能力。

"Promoting learning through competitions" is the core growth path of the Algorithm Club. Every semester, the club organizes its members to compete in various top computer and mathematics competitions, comprehensively improving their abilities in diverse competitions.

01，社长 / Haiming Chen（10年级）

从前，学习算法是个人智力的挑战，享受的是独自通过的喜悦。成为社长后，最大的感受是责任重于泰山。我需要考虑的不再是自己如何“秒杀”一道题，而是如何让不同水平的社员都能有所得、有所乐。看到社员们因理解一个难点而豁然开朗的表情，那种喜悦与成就感远比个人解出难题更为深刻和持久。

Once, learning algorithms was a personal intellectual challenge, with joy in solving problems alone. As club president, the biggest takeaway is the weight of responsibility. I no longer focus on acing problems myself, but on helping members of all levels gain and enjoy learning. Seeing their sudden understanding of a tough point brings a deeper, longer-lasting joy and accomplishment than solving any problem alone.

02，副社长 / Bruce Jiang（10年级）

作为副社长，我养成了新的习惯：每做一道题，都会下意识地思考——“这道题的坑在哪里？如何用不同的思路给不同水平的社员讲解？”这让我看算法不再是孤立的解法，而是一个有层次、可拆解的教学体系。我的算法直觉不再仅限于“怎么解”，更包括了“为什么这么解”以及“如何讲明白”。

As the vice president, I’ve formed a new habit: with every problem I solve, I instinctively think—Where are the pitfalls? How to explain it to members at different levels with varied approaches? This has changed how I see algorithms: they’re no longer just isolated solutions, but a layered, dissectible teaching system. My algorithmic intuition now goes beyond how to solve a problem, to why this solution works and how to explain it clearly.

算法社超有意思的！是我们敲代码、为比赛“攒技能”的小基地，在这里练题就像打闯关游戏，提前把竞赛要用到的本事都练熟！而且还能学好多课本外的算法小知识，像解锁新玩具一样，慢慢把编程本领变得超强超强！

The Algorithm Club is awesome! It’s our little hub for coding and building skills for competitions—practicing problems here is like playing a level-up game, honing all the skills we need for contests in advance! We also learn tons of extra algorithm tips not in textbooks, unlocking new tricks one by one and building our coding skills to the max!
