2月24日，重庆火车站发布消息，春节假期（2月15日至2月23日），重庆火车站累计发送旅客229.5万人次。
其中，重庆北站累计发送旅客119.3万人次，重庆西站累计发送旅客84.4万人次，重庆东站累计发送旅客11.2万人次，沙坪坝站累计发送旅客12.5万人次，南川北站、江北机场站、水江西站、巴南站累计发送旅客2.1万人次，全站日均发送旅客25.5万人次，假日期间客流最高峰出现在2月15日，全站单日发送旅客达35.2万人次，展现出强劲的运输活力。
