当地时间2月23日，美军南方司令部表示，“南方之矛”联合特遣部队当日对一艘由被认定为恐怖组织操纵的船只实施了打击。
美军方称，情报证实该船只正沿加勒比海已知的贩毒路线航行，并参与贩毒活动。行动中，三名男性“贩毒恐怖分子”被打死。美军无人员伤亡。（央视记者 朱磊）
