当地时间20日，荷兰政府宣布，任命六六民主党领导人罗布·耶滕为荷兰新任首相。
2025年6月，荷兰自由党因难民庇护政策问题退出执政联盟，致使首相斯霍夫领导的联合政府辞职，内阁处于看守状态。看守政府随后决定于10月29日提前举行众议院选举。在荷兰众议院举行的选举中，六六民主党以不到三万张选票的微弱优势成为第一大党。（总台记者 宋亮）
