上半场两人2-2战平，休息归来后赵心童状态火热并连续轰出高分以5-2拿到赛点，此后墨菲扳回一个赛点，但第九局中赵心童再次轰出118分拿下比赛。
其中，赵心童轰出单杆142分，超越马克-威廉姆斯打出的单杆141分，创造新的赛会单杆最高分。
