2025年山西省GDP总量25495.68亿元，与2024年初核数据相比仅微增0.99亿元，名义增速近乎停滞。太原、吕梁、长治、忻州、朔州等市2025年GDP较2024年出现不同程度下滑，其中吕梁以-68.24亿元增量、-2.58%名义增速成为降幅最大的城市。临汾、晋城、运城、大同、阳泉、晋中实现GDP正增长，其中临汾以75.1亿元增量、3.08%名义增速成为“增长黑马”。
