菲律宾海岸警卫队2月11日通报称，经与多方共同核实，不久前发生在该国南部海域的渡轮沉没事故已造成至少52人死亡。
菲律宾海岸警卫队当天就渡轮沉没事故公布最新调查进展，最终确认事发时该渡轮上共有372人。截至11日，幸存者由此前报告的316人修正为293人，遇难人数升至52人，另有27人失踪。
1月26日凌晨，一艘渡轮在菲律宾南部巴西兰省附近海域沉没。
