据新华社援引英国媒体报道，英国首相府通讯联络主任蒂姆·艾伦2月9日辞职。这是两日内第二位辞职的英国首相府高级官员。
据报道，艾伦当天发表声明表示，他决定辞职，以便首相府组建新团队。
2月8日，首相办公厅主任摩根·麦克斯威尼因英国前驻美国大使彼得·曼德尔森涉爱泼斯坦案引咎辞职。
