2月7日，海南航空发布通告称，2月6日，该司HU492（布鲁塞尔-北京）航班因机械故障原因返航，机组严格按照程序处置，航班已于北京时间当日21:17安全降落布鲁塞尔机场。后续将妥善做好旅客服务保障工作，确保旅客安全抵达目的地，并对给旅客造成的不便致歉。
