此前有报道称，克内克特主动向湖人提出了交易申请，他的新秀合同为4年1848万美元，其中2026-27、2027-28两个赛季为球队选项。
克内克特是2024年的17号秀，赛季至今，他为湖人出战41场比赛，场均登场11.5分钟可以得到4.6分1.4篮板。
