2月5日，据中国联通消息，中国联通于近日正式获得工信部准予开展北斗三号短报文公众应用商用试验的批复。此次获批，意味着在无地面网络信号的海洋、深山、荒漠等偏远地区，用户在“不换卡、不换号”前提下，使用支持北斗短信的终端，通过北斗卫星发送短消息。
