This case exemplifies the coordinated digital approach to complex full-arch implant rehabilitation.

The main challenge was anatomical and occlusal limitations. The severe anterior extension of the maxillary sinuses restricted posterior implant placement even with the placement of tilted implants, requiring a specially designed implant milled bar to support a full-arch monolithic zirconia superstructure. The patient also required comprehensive occlusal reconstruction for functional stability and esthetics, increasing the complexity of prosthodontic planning and execution.

Professor Sorensen, a leading expert in implant-supported prosthodontics with over 40 years of clinical experience and extensive teaching in both conventional and digital workflows at the University of Washington, provided expert guidance throughout the treatment. Treatment was performed along with Dr. Sarah Haddad, a 3rd-year Graduate Prosthodontics Program Resident. Besmile’s technical team carried out the prosthetic design and fabrication.
