北京时间1月28日，据记者Shams Charania报道，球员经纪人透露，华盛顿奇才将与中锋斯卡尔-拉比西埃签下一份为期10天的短合同，拉比西埃此前效力于奇才下属的发展联盟球队。
拉比西埃是2016年NBA选秀大会的首轮新秀（28顺位），即将迎来他的第六个NBA赛季。他在发展联盟的投篮命中率为55%，三分球命中率为44%。
