财联社1月26日电，欧洲铝行业面临困境，因冶炼厂关闭、欧盟碳关税等，铝供应目前严重不足。欧盟目前每年消耗1350万吨铝，以满足其汽车、航空航天和建筑行业的需求。然而，当地初级铝产量已骤降至仅95万吨，结构性缺口高达93%。欧盟委员会正在推动重工业的再工业化和脱碳，计划使钢铁和水泥行业到2030年占欧盟GDP的20%。
