据中国贸易救济信息网，1月21日，应美国行业协会the American Trailer Manufacturers Coalition及其成员企业提交的申请，美国商务部宣布对进口自加拿大、中国和墨西哥的厢式半挂车及其组件（Van-Type Trailers and Subassemblies）发起反倾销和反补贴调查。本案主要涉及美国海关编码8716.39.0040项下产品。美国国际贸易委员会（ITC）预计将最晚于2026年2月17日作出产业损害初裁。
据美方统计，2024年美国自加拿大、中国和墨西哥进口厢式半挂车的金额分别约为5361万美元、17.5万美元、14.9亿美元；2024年美国自加拿大、中国和墨西哥进口厢式半挂车组件的金额分别约为1.2亿美元、2.6亿美元、1.7亿美元。
