1月20日，重庆马拉松组委会发布情况通报：一名选手在比赛期间，跑至临近终点处突然倒地，经全力抢救无效不幸离世。组委会高度重视，及时联系选手家属，组建工作专班全力配合家属做好善后事宜。组委会对选手的不幸离世深感痛惜。
