1月15日下午，美伦国际高中迎来了一位特别嘉宾——实力唱将许靖韵（Angela）携“Glowing”巡回音乐会佛山站走进校园，与同学们展开了一场关于青春、梦想与坚持的深度对话。

On the afternoon of January 15th, MIC (Majestic International College) welcomed a special guest—renowned vocalist Angela, who brought her "Glowing" tour Foshan stop to the campus. She engaged in a profound dialogue with students about youth, dreams, and perseverance.

从A-Level到金融系，再到发光舞台：学业与热爱可以兼得

分享会上，许靖韵坦诚回顾了自己从中学学习到站上舞台的成长之路。她提到，自己在中学阶段同样经历过课程选择与未来规划的迷茫，但始终保持着对唱歌的热爱。尽管她清楚自己喜爱音乐，仍以务实的态度完成了A-Level等学术课程，并考入金融专业，将音乐作为持续发展的兴趣。

During the sharing session, Angela openly recounted her growth journey from her secondary school studies to stepping onto the stage. She mentioned that she too experienced confusion over course selection and future planning during her secondary school years, but always maintained her passion for singing. Although she was clear about her love for music, she pragmatically completed academic courses such as A-Levels, enrolled in a finance major, and kept music as a continuously developing interest.

“我没有因为喜欢唱歌就放弃学业，也没有因为学业就放弃唱歌。”她以自身经历说明，中学阶段的扎实学习与课程选择，并不会限制未来发展的可能性，反而能为追梦之路提供更多保障与底气。

"I didn't give up my studies because I loved singing, nor did I abandon singing because of my studies," she explained through her own experience. Solid learning and course choices during secondary school do not limit future possibilities; instead, they can provide more security and confidence for the path to pursuing dreams.

谈到此次巡回主题“Glowing”，许靖韵巧妙联结英文谐音“Growing”（成长），寓意在发光的同时也与听众共同成长。现场有师生提到从小就开始听她的歌，她感动回应：“感觉我是在跟大家一起长大。”

When discussing the tour's theme, "Glowing," Angela cleverly connected it to the homophone "Growing," symbolizing shining while growing together with her audience. When teachers and students mentioned they had been listening to her songs since childhood, she responded emotionally, "It feels like I'm growing up with all of you."

她认为，每个人都有自己的“发光点”，重要的是坚定自己热爱的事，并持续投入。“创造力很重要，尤其是在我们这个行业，每一个作品都是艺术。”她鼓励同学们在学业与兴趣间找到平衡，在探索中放大自己的擅长之处。

She believes everyone has their own "glowing point," and what matters is staying committed to what you love and continuously investing in it. "Creativity is very important, especially in our industry—every work is a piece of art." She encouraged students to find a balance between academics and interests, and to amplify their strengths through exploration.

当学生代表问到“在成名路上如何应对焦虑与耐心”，许靖韵以自身经历坦言：“紧张是正常的，克服的方法就是反复练习。” 她回忆参加《创造101》时脚抖不已，但“做到第100次，你就会开始享受舞台”。

When a student representative asked, "How do you deal with anxiety and patience on the path to fame?" Angela shared candidly from her own experience: "Nervousness is normal, and the way to overcome it is through repeated practice." She recalled how her feet trembled uncontrollably during her participation in Produce 101, but "by the 100th time, you’ll start to enjoy the stage."

关于学业压力，她从自己修读A-Level等课程的体验出发，建议同学们“在努力学业的同时也要发展兴趣、结交朋友，保持心态的平衡与开放”。她特别提到，中学阶段的每一次尝试、每一门课程，都可能在未来某个时刻成为你的支撑。

Regarding academic pressure, drawing from her own experience studying courses like A-Levels, she advised students to "develop interests, make friends, and maintain a balanced and open mindset while striving academically." She particularly emphasized that every attempt and every course during secondary school could become a support at some point in the future.

多位同学与Angela交流，一位志在金融却也热爱声乐的学生得到她的暖心鼓励：“就像我当初一样，先扎实完成学业，同时不忘坚持爱好——两者并不冲突，青春本就该多向尝试。”

Several students exchanged ideas with Angela. One student, aspiring to finance but also passionate about vocal music, received her warm encouragement: "Just like I did back then, focus on building a solid academic foundation while never giving up your hobbies—the two are not conflicting. Youth is meant for exploring multiple paths."
