1月16日，美股盘前，美光科技股价大幅走高，一度涨近7%；截至发稿，涨幅为5.69%。消息面上， 美光科技 公司董事罕见增持约 780万美元，为自2022年以来首次有内部人士买入。
同时，其他多只芯片巨头在盘前交易中均走高，闪迪大涨超5%，西部数据涨超4%，AMD涨超3%，台积电涨超1%。
