表面镇定从容的王壹Coco，内心早已澎湃不已，一同等候“开箱”结果的老师和同学们，更是为这位拿下广东地区唯一哥大早申席位的女孩欢呼喝彩。

在学术、体育、音乐、公益等多元领域稳步前行的Coco，以热爱为底色，凭借坚持、自律与专注的长期耕耘，在众多申请者中脱颖而出，成功叩开顶尖名校大门。

On December 17th, the moment a new email notification popped up, Columbia University's exclusive admission video appeared, its stirring music echoing through the entire floor. Though calm on the surface, Coco's heart was racing. Teachers and classmates who had waited anxiously for the "unboxing" cheered loudly for the girl who secured Guangdong's only early decision spot at Columbia.

“做任何事都要投入百分百的专注”，这是她刻在心底的学习信条。

课堂上，她全神贯注抓取核心要点；遇到难题时，第一时间向老师同学求助，充分借助学校资源补齐知识漏洞。

即便挑战难度颇高的AP生物课程，她也始终保持积极钻研的态度，反复请教、深耕不辍。

高中四年，她不仅练就了高效的记笔记方法、听课技巧与应试策略，更凭借专注与高效稳稳守住学术优势。

Academic strength is an indispensable pass for Columbia's highly competitive early decision track. Coco maintained an outstanding GPA, excelled in multiple AP courses, and won the 2023 Sendelta Academic Award.

"Devote 100% focus to everything you do" is her core academic belief. In class, she concentrates intensely on key points; when facing difficulties, she seeks help from teachers and peers promptly, leveraging school resources to fill knowledge gaps. Even when tackling the challenging AP Biology in her junior year, she remained proactive—consulting repeatedly and delving deep into the subject.

Over four high school years, she honed efficient note-taking, listening, and exam strategies, securing her academic edge through focus and productivity.

Sendelta's personalized support proved pivotal to her academic journey. Tailoring her curriculum to her abilities, goals, and intended major: she built a solid foundation with AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics in her first two years, then advanced to AP Biology and Statistics in junior year to prepare for college studies.

When training and competitions required makeup classes, teachers adjusted schedules to keep her on track. Homeroom teacher Ray acted as both mentor and friend—coordinating her timetable, monitoring progress, and easing her anxiety during college applications. Teacher Ivan D's engaging classes, featuring fun games, taught her to grasp key exam points efficiently.

五岁那年，在美国的球场边，Coco跟着家人挥起了第一支高尔夫球杆，阳光洒在果岭上，球杆挥动的弧度里，藏下了一份跨越十三年的热爱。启蒙教练曾惊叹于这个小女孩的耐力——能在练习场待满三四个小时，这份与生俱来的专注，让她在逐梦路上始终坚守初心。

十三年的时光里，高尔夫见证了她的每一次成长与蜕变。她不仅收获了国家一级运动员的荣誉，更在2024年世界青少年锦标赛中跻身全球40名，2026届AJGA青少年总排名位列第30，在国内外各项赛事中屡获佳绩。

高尔夫于她，是赛场也是修行场，这门需要独自面对果岭与风雨的运动，让她在孤独中学会沉淀，在挫折中懂得重生，淬炼出的坚韧与抗压能力，成为她人生行囊里的宝贵财富。

在高强度的高尔夫训练之余，Coco从未放松对学术的追求。依托学校量身定制的个性化课表，Coco保持着“上午精进球技、下午深耕学业、傍晚补齐知识”的高效节奏，完美平衡体育与学术双重发展。而体育训练培育的自律与抗压能力，不仅使她在运动场上保持强劲竞争力，更反向滋养着学业成长。

卓越的时间管理能力，让她在追逐体育成就的同时，始终保持优秀的学术成绩。通行的火车上、跨城的飞机上，当身边人休息放松时，她早已拿出书本写作业、背单词、复习知识点，将零散的每一分钟利用到极致，转化为学术提升的阶梯。

Columbia University's reverence for sportsmanship is woven into its campus culture. Its commitment to "holistic development" aligns perfectly with Coco's long-standing dedication. Her ability to balance academic rigor with athletic excellence is precisely the quality Columbia values most.

At five years old, watching her family on a U.S. golf course, Coco swung her first club. The sunlight on the green and the arc of the swing sparked a passion that would last 13 years. Her first coach marveled at her stamina—staying at the driving range for 3-4 hours straight. This innate focus kept her grounded on her journey.

Over 13 years, golf has witnessed her growth and transformation. She earned the title of National Level-1 Athlete, ranked among the top 40 at the 2024 World Junior Golf Championship, and secured 30th place in the 2026 AJGA Junior Rankings, with numerous victories in domestic and international tournaments.

For Coco, golf is both a competition and a spiritual practice. A sport that requires facing the green and storms alone, it taught her to reflect in solitude, rise from setbacks, and cultivate resilience and stress tolerance—priceless assets for life.

Amid intense golf training, Coco never neglected her studies. With Sendelta's customized schedule, she maintained a productive rhythm: honing skills in the morning, focusing on academics in the afternoon, and catching up on knowledge in the evening—balancing sports and studies flawlessly. The self-discipline and stress management from sports not only kept her competitive on the course but also fueled her academic success.

Exceptional time management allowed her to excel academically while pursuing athletic goals. On trains and planes, while others rested, she studied—finishing homework, memorizing words, and reviewing notes. She maximized every spare minute, turning them into stepping stones for academic progress.

音乐

音乐是Coco的精神港湾，也是她安放情绪的栖息地。

她自学钢琴与吉他，指尖流淌的旋律能消解训练与学业的疲惫；

深耕冷门乐器箜篌三年，在丝弦共鸣中感受传统与现代的碰撞；声乐达到8级水平的她，不仅乐于在校园开放日一展歌喉，更将这份热爱转化为创作动力，先后发行三首个人单曲，在各大音乐平台留下青春的印记。

公益

公益是Coco坚持多年的习惯，饱含着少年的责任与担当。

从六岁起，她便持续参与各类公益活动：长期为联合国儿童基金会月捐，助力困境儿童的成长；2016年起为脊柱侧弯基金会捐款，用点滴之力支撑患者的希望；疫情期间还主动为哈尔滨贫困儿童捐赠三千元购置文具，让知识的光芒照亮困境中的童年。

社团

作为生物社的活跃分子，她沉醉于生命奥秘的探索：参与兔子、青蛙解剖实验、DNA分离、制作香薰蜡烛与荧光剂等科学活动，在实践中深化对生物学的热爱，更结识了一群志同道合的伙伴。

高尔夫是偏向个人的运动，而新哲排球校队的时光，则让Coco深刻体会到团队协作的独特魅力。在一次次训练与湾区联赛的比拼中，她从专注自我的状态切换到需要密切配合的团队模式，学会了有效沟通、互相包容与责任担当，团队意识与拼搏精神不断提升。

万圣节的奇幻氛围、双旦晚会的精彩表演、国际日的跨文化交流，这些丰富多彩的校园活动，也让她在充实的学习训练之余，感受到了校园生活的温暖与快乐。

To Columbia, excellence is more than grades—it lies in comprehensive literacy and inner character. At Sendelta, Coco never limited herself to books and the golf course. Instead, she explored music, clubs, and public welfare, expanding her horizons and shining brightly.

Music

Music is Coco's spiritual haven and emotional outlet.

She taught herself piano and guitar, using melodies to relieve the fatigue of training and studies; she mastered the rare traditional Chinese instrument konghou for three years, feeling the collision of tradition and modernity through its strings; with an 8th-level vocal certification, she performed at campus open days and channeled her passion into creating three original singles, leaving her mark on major music platforms. Music taught her tenderness and empathy, keeping her passionate about life amid intense demands.

Public welfare

Public welfare has been a long-standing commitment for Coco, reflecting her sense of responsibility.

Since the age of six, she has participated in various charitable activities: monthly donations to UNICEF to support disadvantaged children; contributions to the Scoliosis Foundation since 2016; and a 3,000-yuan donation of stationery to poor children in Harbin during the pandemic, illuminating their childhoods with knowledge. This kindness aligns with Columbia's values of "service" and "nurturing responsible global citizens," adding a heartfelt touch to her academic and athletic achievements.

Sendelta's rich club resources provided a platform for her curiosity.

As an active member of the Biology Club, she explored life's mysteries through rabbit and frog dissections, DNA extraction, and making scented candles and fluorescent agents—deepening her love for biology and befriending like-minded peers.

While golf is an individual sport, her time on Sendelta's volleyball team taught her the power of teamwork. Through training and Bay Area leagues, she shifted from focusing solely on herself to collaborating closely with teammates, learning effective communication, tolerance, and accountability—strengthening her team spirit and fighting drive.

From Halloween's magic to holiday galas and International Day's cross-cultural exchanges, these vibrant campus activities brought warmth and joy to her busy schedule.

18岁的Coco，即将奔赴纽约，在哥伦比亚大学的校园里开启人生新篇。

她对未来充满期待：在顶尖的学术氛围中深入钻研专业知识，在多元的校园文化中拓展国际视野；继续坚守对高尔夫的热爱，在更广阔的赛场上追逐热爱、突破自我；在公益与艺术领域持续探索，让成长始终带着温度与光芒。

回望成长路，果岭上挥洒的汗水、书桌前沉淀的时光、琴弦上流淌的温柔、公益中传递的善意，都已化作她身上最温润也最坚韧的光芒。正如她在成人礼发言中所说：“成长从不是孤军奋战，而是被爱包裹着一步步成为更好的自己。”

她珍藏着在新哲的美好回忆：彭校给予的大力支持、老师们无微不至的关怀、同学们相互促进的良好氛围。而家人的陪伴与期许，更是她守稳初心的底气，他们的理解与支持，给了她无畏向前的勇气。
